The Comenius project coordinated by the Italian high secondary school “Leonardo da Vinci” will deal with global “Atmospheric Pollution and Global Warming: Think globally and Act locally “

ITIS Leonardo da Vinci, Skarnes Vidergaerde Skole and Tyne Metropolitan College are taking part on a joint Comenius project. The project, part of the Longlife Learning Programme set up by the European Union, aimes at sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences on the theme of greenhouse gases released into the atmosphere through human activities.

The main goal of the project is to increase students’ awareness of the fundamental role every citizen can play in preserving the environment.

This website will contain articles in Italian and English published by the students from the three partner schools:

• ITIS Leonardo da Vinci (IT)
• Skarnes Vidergaerde Skole (NO)
• Tyne Metropolitan College (GB)

The site will be regularly updated with news and information about the events related to the activities the students will carry out until the end of the project (July 2010).
